Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Commerce, Science or equivalent

- Maximum Age: 42 Years
DSP Post
- Maximum Age: 27 Years
Age relaxation will be provided as per Haryana Government rules.

Selection Process
Selection for HPSC HCS Recruitment 2026 will be conducted in three stages:
Stage 1 – Preliminary Examination
- Objective type examination
- Two papers: General Studies and Aptitude Test
- Only screening test
Stage 2 – Main Written Examination
- Six descriptive papers
- Includes English, Hindi, and General Studies
Stage 3 – Personality Test / Interview
- Evaluation of leadership, decision-making, and administrative skills
Final selection will be based on marks obtained in the Main Examination and Interview.
Physical Standards (Only for DSP)
Male candidates must meet height and chest measurement requirements, while female candidates must meet minimum height criteria as prescribed in the official notification.
