Educational Qualification
The educational qualification varies according to the department.
For Most Super-Specialty Departments
Candidates must possess:
- DM/MCh or equivalent qualification recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) in the concerned specialty.
Experience Requirement
Professor
- DM/MCh qualification.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience as Associate Professor or equivalent in an NMC-recognized medical institution.
Associate Professor
- DM/MCh qualification.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as Assistant Professor or equivalent.
Assistant Professor
- DM/MCh qualification.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as Registrar, Resident, Tutor, Demonstrator, or equivalent in the concerned super-specialty.
Radiation Oncology / Radiotherapy
For this department, candidates should possess:
- MBBS (Basic Medical Qualification)
- MD/MS or equivalent qualification recognized by NMC
- Required teaching experience as prescribed in the notification
